Polycystic Ovary syndrome

What are the causes?

The effects of PCOS can vary with some women having mild symptoms and others having a wider range of the more severe symptoms. It is not yet fully understood what causes the hormonal imbalances in PCOS and it is possible that there are several causes which could explain why different women have such different symptoms.
