Friedreich's Ataxia: Recessive Spino-Cerebellar Degeneration

Friedreich's Ataxia is a genetic disorder characterised by a progressive degeneration of the spino-cerebellar system due to an abnormality of a gene on chromosome 9 (called Frataxin).
